Cookies
This page explains which cookies and similar technologies this website uses, and how you can control them.
In short
This website doesn't use cookies when you visit it. We don't use analytics, advertising or tracking tools, which is why there's no cookie banner.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser, for example to remember your settings or to recognise you on a later visit. Similar technologies, such as your browser's local storage, work in much the same way.
Cookies on this website
This website doesn't set any cookies or store anything in your browser while you visit it.
The only exception is our editing tool: when someone on our team previews unpublished changes, the website sets technically necessary cookies in that person's browser, which expire after eight hours. Visitors never receive them.
Videos in articles
Some articles may include videos from YouTube or Vimeo. These only load when you press play. After that, the provider may set cookies or use similar technologies in your browser. Our Privacy Policy explains what these providers receive and how to withdraw your consent.
Managing cookies
You can view, delete and block cookies in your browser's settings. This website works fully without them.
Changes to this page
If we start using cookies, for example for analytics, we'll update this page and ask for your consent first where the law requires it. This version is from October 2026.
